Give Him The Jameson, He's From Boston

I Decided to spend a 3rd day in Toronto. Something about this city is compelling. I went to lunch at Caplansky's Deli again and ate a smoked meat sandwich. It was increible. I ordered a beer (yes, at 11:30am), but the keg kicked while they poured it, and even though they had given me ~13oz, the server came back a few minutes later and gave me 8oz of whatever beer they replaced the keg with. Without me asking!

Today was not too different the past 2 days. Lots of snacking and napping.

For dinner I went to WVRST, which is a sausage place on King St. I got an elk sausage with sweet peppers and onions. It was delicious. When I was leaving I asked the bartender what the best mexican place in Toronto is, and she recommend the same place as someone I asked the day before, on the corner of Portland and Adelaide St. So I went there next and had 2 tacos and it was SO GOOD. After that I was walking back to my hostel and saw a cool-looking dive bar so I went in there and got a cheesebuger. I got to talking to the bartender about my bicycle ride, and after I paid for my cheeseburger he asked, "You want to do a shot?" I said Yes, Sure!. He turned to another server and aid, "Hey, We're doing a shot. This guy biked here from Boston." The bartender reached for the whiskey on the bar rail and the server stopped him and said, "Give him the Jameson, he's from Boston!" I'm glad our city has a reputation. I won't say no to free whiskey or really to anything at this point.
